Arabella’s Flowers is an independent florist, situated at Fenview lakes in the fens, just a few miles from Ely in Cambridgeshire.
I specialise in the design of Wedding flowers and Event flowers.
I also offer fresh flowers for other occasions including Birthdays, Funerals, as well as Bouquets for Anniversaries or that Special Bouquet for that Special Someone.
Having been enchanted as a child by the riot of colour that filled our garden, I developed a passion for all things floral, studying for an HND in horticulture before working in a variety of garden centres and florists. I opened my own business in March 2020 in Jersey. While the timing for this venture – I opened three weeks before the big lockdown – was not ideal, Arabella’s Flowers survived Covid and is going from strength to strength and now are moving to Ely in Cambridgeshire
Given my passion for all things floral, it is not surprising that I see flowers as an integral part of any wedding. I could not imagine a wedding without flowers, from the simple to the extravagant, they add so much to the colour scheme and feel of the event, and you don’t need a big budget to create an effective display of wedding flowers. Some of the simplest table arrangements, such as gerberas and candles floating in a glass bowl of water, can be very striking.
